The "Cherish the Children" fund was established in loving memory of Karen D'Eon who nurtured and enriched the lives of countless children affected by poverty, neglect and abuse through small acts of kindness and generosity.
Our mission is to provide children involved with the Department of Children and Families with support, opportunities, and experiences that provide hope, comfort and joy.
This fund is Karen's vision:
"Making Children's Dreams Come True, One Small Wish at a Time"
In June 2002, after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer Karen D’Eon lost her life and the children of Lynn DCF lost a woman who cherished them the most, the woman behind their simple everyday wishes and dreams.
We would love your help and support so that we can continue and expand Karen’s vision.
