Cherishing children can be as easy as:

Donating items for any or all of the special events hosted each year:

• Backpacks and the supplies to fill them for back-to-school
• Easter basket stuffed animals, crayons, books, candy, etc.
• Halloween costumes- popular choices are Witches, Magicians, Princesses, and Super Heroes.
• Thanksgiving dinner items
• Holiday gifts and dinners
• Sponsor a fundraising event
• Donate a new toy for a child, or a gift for a teenager
• Raise money for our “grant a special wish” program
• Give a check or a gift certificate
• Adopt a child and their family for a Holiday
• Share your understanding and your skills
• Roll-up your sleeves and dive right in to volunteer at any of our annual event
  

The ideas of how you can help are as endless as your imagination!

Here are some more wonderfully creative ideas:

• Kate B. donated the money she would have spent on wedding favors for her quests to Cherish the Children. Her wedding reception featured a beautifully famed embossed note for each guest of the donation.
  
• Remember the life of a love one by selecting Cherish the Children as the memorial charity
  
• Ryan and his Girlfriend host a Holiday party every year and ask each guest to bring an unwrapped gift for a child. (Last year they filled an entire hallway of the office with a bounty of awesome presents!)
  
• Instead of Teacher gifts and Holiday Work gifts, Sue gives each person a Cherish the Children Card that says she had made a donation in their name in lieu of a gift.
